McLeod Lung Conference &  Health Lungs Program

McLeod Multidisciplinary Lung Conference, held bimonthly, brings together McLeod Cancer Specialists and patients via Telehealth to review cases and develop treatment plans. This allows patients to meet their care team and speeds up the treatment planning process.

McLeod Palliative Care Program

We provide specialized care for individuals with chronic illnesses, focusing on symptom relief and stress management. Palliative visits can be made at home or virtually for symptom management and support.

Aimee Martin, a Nurse Practitioner, explains, “The palliative care team reviews treatment choices and goals. Then we collaborate with the patient’s primary care physician to advocate for their wishes and goals. This allows the patient full control of their care with a focus on improving their quality of life.”

McLeod School-Based TeleHealth Program

The McLeod School-Based TeleHealth program partners with several schools within Florence 1 Schools and Florence School District 2. This program, with authorized parental/guardian consent, allows the patient to see a provider without leaving school for secure and private on-demand non-emergency medical visits. Patients receive the same level of care they would get at the doctor’s office. Using high-definition cameras and state-of-the-art equipment with attached peripheral devices, a full examination is possible.
