McLeod Health welcomes Dr. John Karl and Dr. William Gammon to McLeod Family Medicine Carolina Forest. These physicians join McLeod Health from private practice in Murrells Inlet.

Dr. Karl has more than 20 years of experience as a family medicine physician. He has treated patients along the Grand Strand for the last 17 years.

“I chose McLeod Health because of its reputation in the community,” said Dr. Karl. “I want my patients to have the best resources available.”

With more than 23 years of experience as a family medicine physician, Dr. Gammon has been treating patients along the South Carolina coast for 20 years.

“I am excited to join the excellent team at McLeod Health,” said Dr. Gammon. “The commitment to quality and patient centeredness align with my own core values.”

Both physicians are Board Certified in Family Medicine and treat patients with a broad spectrum of health care needs, ranging from primary care to more complicated medical needs including heart disease, diabetes, lung disease, kidney disease and multi-system diseases.
