McLeod Health congratulates Dr. John Sonfield and Dr. Johnson Walker for honors they recently received from the Class of 2023 and 2024 with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. 

Medical students Kendall Stalls and Madison Arnel presented Dr. Sonfield with the 2024 Teacher of the Year Award and Dr. Walker with the Outstanding Faculty Teacher Award during the Medical Staff meeting on February 10. These honors are selected by vote of the medical students pursuing rotations at McLeod Regional Medical Center.
