An event for community members to meet Scott Montgomery, the new administrator for McLeod Loris, was held on Tuesday, February 27 at the Center for Health and Fitness in Loris.
With the growth of Horry County, and strategic opportunities identified at McLeod Loris, the need for a full time leader to focus on this work was determined. As Administrator of McLeod Loris, Montgomery will implement management action plans and will be responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and enhancement of quality health services in accordance with the philosophy and mission of McLeod Health. Montgomery has exhibited outstanding leadership and a servant’s heart in his previous positions, living the values of McLeod Health.
“It is an honor and a privilege to transition in this role. I am most appreciative for the opportunity and committed to the people and mission of McLeod Health. This role further underscores our dedication to the provision of quality healthcare in our region and investment in the community of Loris. My goal is to perpetuate the trust and confidence placed in our hospital and professionals,” stated Montgomery.
