McLeod Health welcomes Swarna Nalluru, MD, and Christoph Sossou, MD, to the medical staff.
Dr. Nalluru joins Dr. Rajesh Bajaj, Dr. Michael Pavy, Dr, Sreenivas Rao, Dr. Jamie Smith, Dr. Ravneet Bajwa, Dr. Viji Motilal Nehru and Dr. Arrvind Raghunath in serving patients at McLeod Oncology and Hematology Associates, a division of McLeod Regional Medical Center. A native of India, Dr. Nalluru comes to McLeod following the completion of her Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Massachusetts Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. Board Certified in Internal Medicine, she received her medical degree from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, India, and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, MA. As a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist, Dr. Nalluru provides care for a broad continuum of cancer diagnoses using chemotherapy, targeted and biological therapy. Dr. Sossou is part of the excellent team of cardiologists at McLeod Cardiology Associates. Dr. Sossou is the Founder of the Young Citizen Mentorship Program and part of the Fellow-in-Training Committee with the Association of Black Cardiologists (ABC). Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Medicine, he received his medical degree from Saint Georges University School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Rutgers Health Newark Beth Israel Department of Medicine. He completed a Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV Las Vegas and an Interventional Cardiovascular Fellowship at Gagnon Cardiovascular institute Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. Dr. Sossou speaks fluent French and English, and resides on the coast with his wife, Karolina and son, Levy.
