McLeod Health welcomes Scott M. Berry, MD, and Luke Stewart, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Berry joins McLeod Health from Jackson, Mississippi, where he served as the Surgical Director of the Comprehensive Breast Cancer Center and Chief of Breast Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Board Certified in General Surgery, Dr. Berry treats benign and malignment breast diseases, including treatment of breast infections, tumor removals and breast cancer. He is also trained to perform a wide variety of surgical breast procedures such as lumpectomies, total mastectomies, quadrantectomies, skin-sparing mastectomies, nipple-sparing mastectomies, sentinel lymph node biopsies, and axillary lymph node dissections. Dr. Berry received his medical degree from Loyola University School of Medicine and completed his residency in General Surgery and Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Stewart joins Dr. William Jackson, Dr. Carmen Piccolo, Dr. Eva Rzucidlo and Ashley Moody, PA-C, at McLeod Vascular Associates. Raised in Greensboro, North Carolina, Dr. Stewart comes to McLeod after completing a Vascular Surgery Integrated Residency Program at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At the University of Alabama, the complexity of the cases, the overall high surgical case volume, and the nationally known faculty, provided Dr. Stewart with extensive training in using percutaneous methods and advanced techniques for the treatment of vascular disease. Dr. Stewart received his medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina.
