McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon, McLeod Health Dillon and McLeod Regional Medical Center recently wrapped up their Junior Volunteer Summer Programs. Between the four hospitals more than 120 teenagers volunteered more than 8,000 hours serving our patients and staff.
Junior Volunteers with McLeod Health Cheraw completed their Summer program at the hospital on July 28. The hospital had 11 Junior Volunteers participate from Chesterfield High School, Cheraw High School, and Marlboro County High School.
McLeod Health Clarendon celebrated the 22 Teen Volunteers who completed their summer program on August 8. The group volunteered 3,000 hours.
McLeod Health Dillon has been offering their Teen Volunteer program for 35 years. This year, 14 area teens spent their summer volunteering for the hospital.
At McLeod Regional Medical Center, 74 Junior Volunteers completed the summer program. During the 8-week program, the teens volunteered 4,379 hours.
