The Medical Surgical Department at McLeod Health Cheraw was recently celebrated for achieving excellence in their HCAHPS scores.

This team was able to maintain a score above the 90th percentile for the Communication About Medications dimension for the entire Quarter 2 (April, May, June). This dimension asks patients if staff told them what their medications were for and if they described possible side effects of the medications in a way that they could understand.
