On Wednesday, November 6, senior students from the Sports Medicine program at Myrtle Beach High School visited McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence for an in-depth tour, gaining valuable insights into the specialized practices and procedures at the facility. The students explored a range of departments, including the Operating Rooms, Hyperbaric Medicine, Clinical Pharmacy, NICU, Children’s Hospital, and Trauma Services.
This visit is part of an ongoing partnership with Horry County Schools, which provides students with opportunities to enroll in the McLeod Health Careers Course and participate in Work-Based Learning experiences at McLeod Health Seacoast, McLeod Health Loris, and McLeod Health Carolina Forest in the Spring of 2025.
