The McLeod Health Nursing Academy is an opportunity for high school students interested in a nursing career to participate in an educational career developmental program.

Held in Florence and Horry Counties, the Nursing Academy provides clinical education, career skills, educational plans, scholarship information, and industry recognized credentials to help the students determine if nursing is the career they want to pursue.

The first two-week session began on June 20 at McLeod Regional Medical Center. The second session will be held at McLeod Health Seacoast beginning July 18.
