MARIA CRUZ, MA, OTR, CHT
Occupational Therapist
Maria Cruz was born and raised in New York City. She graduated with a Master of Arts in Occupational Therapy from New York University. While practicing in New York State, her OT clinical experience includes hospitals, outpatient hand therapy, private practice hand therapy , home care, nursing homes, work hardening programs, outpatient lymphedema therapy, and OT pediatric early intervention in school-based programs. Maria has additional certifications in the Graston Technique, Physical Agent Modalities, Therapeutic Electric Stimulation, and Lymphedema Therapy. She is also trained with Kinesio Tape and cupping therapy. Maria served nine years in the US Armed Forces Reserves and holds a Honorable Discharge after receiving the rank of 2nd Lieutenant.

Sarah Small, MOT, OTR/L, C/NDT
Occupational Therapist
Sarah Small received her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences in 2015. Sarah has been NDT (Neuro-Developmental Treatment) certified since March of 2018. Sarah has a background in multiple settings, including inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, and skilled nursing. Sarah has a passion for treating patients who have neurological conditions and helping them regain independence in completing their daily activities. She joined Mcleod Health Seacoast in 2020. Sarah moved to Myrtle Beach in January 2016, and enjoys spending time with her husband and their two goofy dogs on the beach.
