  Ben Wells received his Master of Communication Disorders from the University of South Carolina in 2015. After graduating from USC, Ben completed his clinical fellowship earning a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. His professional background includes pediatric school-based care, adult acute care, adult inpatient rehabilitation, and adult outpatient rehabilitation. Ben specializes in providing speech therapy services to the young adult through senior adult populations addressing neurological disorders affecting expressive/receptive language, cognitive-communication skills, speech sound production, dysarthria, and swallowing. Ben is certified to deliver LSVT Loud voice therapy and SPEAK OUT! voice therapy for Parkinson’s patients. He is also certified to provide VitalStim Neuromuscular Electrical Stimulation therapy for dysphagia. Ben has been a part of the Mcleod team since 2021.
