McLeod Health is pleased to welcome visitors to our facilities. In an effort to aid in the protection of patients, guests and healthcare workers, modified visitation requirements have been implemented at all McLeod Health campuses.
Physicians, employees, visitors, and incoming patients arriving for care, testing or moving through the facility are required to wear a facemask while on a McLeod Health campus or in a physician office.
McLeod Regional Medical Center – Florence, McLeod Health Cheraw, McLeod Health Clarendon, McLeod Health Dillon, McLeod Health Loris and McLeod Health Seacoast – Little River
An armband/visitor pass will be provided at each facility’s entrance. Visitors are required to wear a facemask and the armband/visitor pass at all times.
Children must be at least five (5) years of age to visit and must be accompanied by an adult. During RSV season, October to April, children under the age of twelve (12) are not allowed to visit. Visitors must not be experiencing any signs or symptoms of illness.
Each in-patient is welcome to have four (4) visitors during visiting hours. Daily visiting hours are 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. No more than one (1) visitor may remain overnight. Pediatric patients are limited to two (2) adult visitors for overnight stays.
Patients may have two (2) visitors, limited to one (1) visiting at a time.
Patients may have two (2) visitors.
Patients of the McLeod Cancer Center may have two (2) visitors.
Patients may have two (2) visitors consisting of parents, legal guardians or caregivers.
Patients may have one (1) visitor during labor. This individual can be relieved by others, but only by one (1) other person visiting at a time. Other visitors, up to four (4), may wait in the family waiting areas. After delivery and recovery, the mother and baby may have four (4) visitors.
Patients may have one (1) visitor, unless end-of-life. All visitors must adhere to hospital infection prevention guidelines.
Patients at end-of-life may have up to six (6) visitors at a time.
Special requests regarding visitation will be handled on an individual basis and be referred to the Administrative Nursing Supervisor for the final decision.
Patients are not allowed visitors at this time.
