The steel beams are going up for the construction of the new inpatient hospital on the campus of McLeod Health Carolina Forest. The four-story, 48-bed facility is expected to be complete in 2026.

The addition of the hospital at this location will provide healthcare services needed by the local community and will be part of a continued assessment of medical needs and recruitment of specialists and physicians to the area to serve patients and their families on the Coast.

The facility will house operating suites, diagnostic imaging and laboratory services. The Carolina Forest campus already includes outpatient buildings serving primary care, specialty care and emergency services.
