McLeod Health joined the American Heart Association in support of the fight against heart disease and stroke at the Pee Dee Heart Walk on Saturday, October 18 at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center. 

McLeod Health & Fitness Center Zumba experts warmed up the group and McLeod staff provided free blood pressure screenings. McLeod HeartReach was also on display and McLeod Air Reach circled the crowd from above as the McLeod team prepared to join the 500 other local industry members on the walk.  

“We are all here walking today to ensure everyone has the opportunity to live their healthiest life, both physically and mentally,” said Will McLeod,  CEO of McLeod Regional Medical Center and Chair of the Pee Dee Heart Walk. “With everyone’s continued support, we can keep pushing forward to save more lives.”
