Recently, the staff with the McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment and Research at Seacoast signed the final beam being put in place for the new Cancer Center. W.M. Jordan Company who are constructing the cancer center also held a celebration luncheon for the topping-out ceremony for their staff and the cancer team.

McLeod broke ground for the McLeod Center for Cancer Treatment and Research at Seacoast in July 2023. The new facility will be the first Comprehensive Cancer Center in Horry County where all cancer treatment services are under one roof. The state-of-the-art facility is being designed to prioritize convenience for patients and their families while providing the advanced cancer care they need. Services in the new Cancer Center will include medical oncology, infusion (chemotherapy/immunotherapy) services and radiation oncology.
