McLeod Health welcomes Sonika Malik, MD, and Arrvind Raghunath, MD, to the medical staff.

Dr. Malik joins Dr. Meenakshi Pande and advanced practitioners Lindsay Powell, PA-C, and Lisa Woodberry, NP, in serving patients at McLeod Pediatric and Adult Endocrinology in Florence. Dr. Malik provides the full spectrum of care for patients with endocrine concerns. Commonly treated conditions include Diabetes, Thyroid/Parathyroid Disease, Osteoporosis and Metabolic Bone Disease, tumors effecting endocrine glands, and Adrenal & Pituitary Disorders. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Dr. Malik received her medical degree from Dr. D.Y. Patil Medical College and Research Center, Pune, India in 2012. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center, in Akron, Ohio. She has completed fellowship training in two disciplines: Gastrointestinal Nutrition at The University of Chicago Medical Center, Chicago, Illinois, in 2020, and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at Texas Tech University Medical Center in Odessa, Texas in 2022. Dr. Raghunath joins Dr. Rajesh Bajaj, Dr. Ravneet Bajwa, Dr. Viji Motilal Nehru, Dr. Michael Pavy, Dr. Sreenivas Rao, and Dr. James Smith in serving patients at McLeod Oncology and Hematology Associates. As a Medical Oncologist and Hematologist, Dr. Raghunath provides care for a broad continuum of cancer diagnoses. Commonly treated cancers include, but are not limited to thoracic and lung cancer, leukemia, lymphoma and blood-based cancers, sarcomas, melanomas, and gastrointestinal tumors. Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Oncology and Hematology, Dr. Raghunath received his medical degree from SRM Medical College and Research Center in 2015 and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center in 2019. He earned a Fellowship in Leukemia from The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in 2020, followed by his Fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2023.
