McLeod Health welcomes Frederick Bellamy, MD, and Charlee Pittman, DO, to the medical staff.
Dr. Bellamy joins McLeod Anesthesia in serving patients and providing care at McLeod Health Loris and McLeod Health Seacoast. He comes to McLeod continuing more than three decades of service as an anesthesiologist in the coastal region of the Carolinas. Dr. Bellamy received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 1987 and completed a Residency in Anesthesiology at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in 1991. He previously served on medical staff at multiple hospital systems, including Southeastern Ambulatory Surgery Center, Inlet Anesthesia Consultants, Sentara Albermarle Medical Center, Grand Dunes Surgery Center, Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, and the former Loris Community Hospital, now McLeod Health Loris. A long-time resident of the Myrtle Beach area, Dr. Bellamy is married and has three adult children and two grandchildren.
Dr. Pittman joins the department of Inpatient Medicine at McLeod Health Clarendon as a Hospitalist. A familiar face around McLeod Health, Dr. Pittman is a 2023 graduate of the McLeod Family Medicine Residency Program. She received her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine Carolina Campus in Spartanburg, South Carolina. Dr. Pittman appreciates that as a hospitalist she can work in a variety of different clinical areas of the healthcare system. A native of Asheville, North Carolina, Dr. Pittman enjoys hiking with her dog Billie, camping, fishing and spending time with family.
