McLeod Choice Pharmacy offers compounding, the preparation of customized medications for patients to meet their specific needs. Patients may be allergic or sensitive to preservatives, dyes or certain standard drug strengths.

With a physician’s consent, the compounding pharmacist changes the strength or flavor of the medication. They can also change the delivery system such as a lozenge, lollipop, or a transdermal gel or cream that can be absorbed through the skin.
