McLeod Health is pleased to welcome visitors to our facilities. In an effort to aid in the protection of patients, guests and healthcare workers, modified visitation requirements have been implemented at all McLeod Health campuses.

To optimize our resources and staffing, McLeod Health is also limiting the points of entry and exits for those seeking care and their caregivers. Patients in need of emergency care should continue to seek treatment at any McLeod Health Emergency Department. Specific information for each McLeod Health facility is provided below.

McLeod Physician Associates Practice Offices

• One (1) identified supportive care person is permitted to attend with the patient receiving care.
• Unless they are receiving care, children young than are 12 are not allowed in waiting areas or treatment rooms.

Your loved one is in excellent hands! Our staff members are devoted to providing safe, high quality, compassionate care. Our compassion and concern for the well-being of our patients extends to you, the family member and friend.

You are considered a key part of a patient’s journey to healing. We understand that you cannot always be here with your loved one, and encourage family members and friends to use alternative communication methods as available and appropriate such as:

• Phone Call (either personal cell or patient room)
• Texting, Email, or other electronic methods
• Video Chatting (FaceTime, Duo, or Skype)
• Family Connect Visits: Virtual visitation experiences that are coordinated by a team who are trained to help patients, visitors and loved ones stay connected by using smart devices. This team also assists with device charger needs and can help with smart device issues the patient or family are experiencing.
