McLeod Nurse Practitioner Hillery Dolford addressed diabetes foot care during the 20th Annual McLeod Diabetes Health Fair.

Each November, during National Diabetes Awareness Month, the McLeod Diabetes Center provides an extensive wealth of information at its largest community event, the Diabetes Health Fair.

In its 20th year, the 2019 Diabetes Health Fair was held on Friday, November 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in the McLeod Medical Plaza.

The free Diabetes Health Fair included blood sugar screenings, blood pressure screenings, foot checks, and eye screenings. In addition, attendees received information diabetes-related nutrition, stroke and medication information.

Hillery Dolford, FNP-C, with the McLeod Outpatient Wound Center also discussed Diabetes Foot Care during a lunch and learn session.
